One of the most devastating effects of having a seriously ill child in the family is that it often tears the family apart. One parent stays in the hospital to care for the sick child, while the other is at home with the other children. Living apart heavily weighs on the family bond. But, thanks to a Beyond the Moon vacation, we can restrengthen that precious bond, so that the whole family can enjoy, heal and reconnect together – during and after their unforgettable trip. That was the case for 8-year-old Matthew and his family:

“It was all perfect and very easy. The hotel was close to the Disney Park, so we went on foot every time. It was a dream holiday for the entire family, after all that Matthew went through. He enjoyed every minute and had a blast. His sister enjoyed the time with him. Seeing them playing together was such a special moment. This holiday united our family, because with all the admissions he had, we were separated for quite a long time. We never had such a wonderful experience together.”
