We received a heartfelt gift for our vacation project from Sophie’s Appeal that goes beyond monetary value. Our unique bond with this wonderful British charity dates back to 2004. Sophie lost her battle at just 6½ years old, leaving us only a brief two months after we had the privilege of offering her and her family a magical vacation to Disneyland Paris.

In the face of unimaginable loss, Sophie's parents transformed their grief into a powerful purpose, establishing their own charity. Their mission? Among various endeavours, one of their key goals is to provide other children battling illness with the same level of joy and support that Sophie once enjoyed. Sophie's legacy lives on as her parents, together with the charity’s members and volunteers, tirelessly work to make a difference.

Today, we're not just receiving a donation, we're witnessing the reflection of resilience, a manifestation of enduring love. Sophie, although no longer with us, will undoubtedly be looking down with immense pride at her extraordinary parents!
